The Breath-Of-Life Seventh-day Adventist Church was established in 1978 by Allegheny-East Conference of Seventh-day Adventists. This church was formed to accommodate a group of newly baptized persons, following the conclusion of a four-week Crusade that was held at the Warner Theater in Washington, DC. The year was 1978.
A second Crusade was held in 1979, yielding additional members for the new congregation.
The congregation later purchase land and built a church in Fort Washington, Maryland. It officially opened the new church building in the Summer of 1983.
